Current Stock – Sports Equipment
Cheapskates operates as a consignment store that sells sports equipment on behalf of our customers. Due to the nature of our business, our current stock in the store fluctuates drastically from week-to-week. Check with our stock below to give yourself an approximation of how full our shelves are, and therefore how competitive the market is. The less we have in stock, the more likely we are to accept items (in season). Alternatively, the more we have in stock, the stricter we will have to be when accepting items.
In anticipation of the fall/winter hockey season, Cheapskates begins consigning all hockey equipment in August and will continue to do so throughout the season depending on stock levels. We also accept hockey and figure skates throughout the year at any time.
Cheapskates will begin consigning cleats, shin pads, and other soccer equipment in August in preparation for the fall season. Cleats themselves will also be consigned and sold during the spring and summer to accommodate the summer season.
Cheapskates will begin consigning baseball equipment including gloves, bats, cleats, and pants in March, and will continue to do so throughout the summer to supply all summer baseball and softball players.
Cheapskates accepts and sells smaller exercise equipment year-round. Free-weights, bars, steps, jump-rope, and other accessories are most commonly accepted and sold.
Space is limited, so please call ahead before hauling in larger items.
Due to overwhelming demand, Cheapskates accepts and sells both Lululemon and Ivivva athletic wear throughout the year. We simply ask that the clothes be washed and in reasonable condition.
